I’ve been told time and time again to start sketching. I believe by everyone in my life who’s involved with my artistic career.

And yet regardless of the consistent pleads for me to sketch more, I often struggle to find the will to do so.

Back in 2023 when it came to starting my art pieces, my first instinct was to dive directly into the project. If I discovered any issues with what I was doing I had the mindset of “Okay, I’ll figure it out in the moment, and keep going”. Which, in my defense, worked. But only to a point.

Two years later, I’m proud to say that I do in fact keep a sketchbook handy at all times! And I even sketch in it sometimes!

What you’ll find below, are some various ideas from my sketchbook. Both “good” and “bad”. But all good for progress.
